The windshield wiper is a part of the car that DOES wear out.  Therefore, it is very important to look out for any deterioration of your windshield wiper to replace them before they put you in a  hazardous situation.Wipers come in many different sizes and qualities. There are also different designs such as winter blades. Here in Tucson Arizona, we don’t use winter blades.

When replacing your blades, you can  extend their life by keeping them cleaned. It is easy to notice when the windshield wipers have worn out. You can experience streaking or there may be the familiar annoying noise made by blades that have become hardened over time. This can make it hard for you to see where you are going. Before you go out to purchase a windshield wiper blade, you have to know the size of the blade. Every wiper is different for each vehicle.

The size of the blade is essential because every vehicle is designed to be equipped with a specific size. If you install a smaller wiper blade they will not clean the area of the windshield that they were designed to clean thus causing a smaller view. On the other hand, if you install larger wiper blades, they will not operate properly. Windshield wipers, in fact, are security features of a vehicle. It is against the law to drive  without windshield wipers. This illegality is explained by the fact that without a windshield wiper, you not only put yourself at a safety risk, but also other motorists on the roadway. Many accidents are caused by faulty windshield wipers. We recommend that you replace your wiper blades every six months.
